Palitha Janaranjane: Bingiriya, Kurunegala, Sri Lanka; I am Palitha Janaranjane.That is the name what I presented with my creations on comic magazines.Jalissan is my nick-name.The nick-name was created by I my self.My birth place is Bingiriya.It is very far from Colombo.I am not from noble family.My child time was not a bed of flowers.My parents faced many inconveniences to look after me.Because I am a congenital heart patient. I was not a brilliant student in my school.However after school life I worked at Colombo museum as an artist in 1984.But i gave up that occupation .My ambition was to be a cartoonist of a newspaper (not a comic magazine).All of Sri Lankan newspapers rejected my cartoons.Then I started this poor blog.Now you can write here like or dislike,satisfy or dissatisfy. Thank you.
